これ、久しぶりに聞きました。当時KeithはAmerican QuartetとEuropean Quartetと２つカルテットをやっていたみたいです。私が大好きなNude Antsというアルバムがあるのですが、これはそのアルバムのツアー（しかもLive In Tokyo）ということでBostonにいる頃買ったのですが、聞いてぶっ飛んだのを憶えています、笑。全員がとにかく凄い！音楽の内容は、ここしばらくKeithが録音しているようなジャズのスタンダードと比べると、演奏も曲も非常に難解なものもあります。でも一人一人のプレイは凄まじいものがあります。昔、友人のBob Zungというサックス奏者が、このアルバムのサックス、Jan Garbarekを聞くとあまりに凄すぎて練習する気がなくなる、って言ってたのを思い出しますが、その気持ちはとってもよくわかります。しかも後々聞いたのですが、このアルバムの何曲かは日本に来る飛行機の中でKeithが書いたものらしいです。。っていうことはほぼ初見？？？？？
